Today I managed to get access to listening stations in Ukraine to monitor for interesting sounds such as sirens and explosions happening in the distance. On 28th September 2025, most of the captured stuff were just ambient noise such as cars passing by or just white noise. At 22:00 CEST sirens were heard in the distance before turning off 30 seconds later. At 22:12 CEST an explosion was heard quite close to the listening station which was very loud, even for me.
